Growing up on the beaches of sunny Florida but the daughter of farming families. My moms side of the family were wheat farmers and dads side dairy farmers, there is the part of me that has always longed for life on the farm. Not enough of a part to actually work a farm so I did the next best thing, farm stay. Family vacation 2021 with the kids was a goat dairy farm stay in Buena Vista. Still smiling at the simple beauty of it all. Crisp morning mountain sunrises with horses in the field and Sunday morning goat herding with my grandson. Making all the fun animal sounds with a 2 year old and feeding the animals with toddler laughter. I even enjoyed the rooster wake up calls, annoying as they were but I may be the only one that enjoyed that part.
